Web3 Javascript Developer – Smart Contracts & Backend

About the role

We are seeking a Web3 Javascript Developer to join GetChainVerse’s project‑focused teams building blockchain‑based solutions for trade, supply‑chain transparency and digital regulatory pilots. The role involves designing, developing and deploying smart contracts and off‑chain services that enable secure documentation, provenance and asset tokenisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and deploy smart contracts using Solidity or Vyper on Ethereum‑compatible networks.
• Develop decentralized application components and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Build and maintain backend services in Node.js, Python or Go to connect blockchain layers with existing trade systems.
• Collaborate with policy, commercial and operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical designs.
• Perform code reviews, write automated tests and follow secure development practices for both on‑chain and off‑chain code.
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications on testnets and mainnets, and produce technical documentation for non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and deploying smart contracts on Ethereum‑compatible networks.
• Strong knowledge of Web3 tooling such as web3.js, ethers.js, Hardhat, Truffle or Foundry.
• Solid backend development skills in Node.js, Python or Go.
• Familiarity with IPFS, oracle integration, layer‑2 solutions and wallet/key management.
• Understanding of cryptographic primitives and secure contract patterns.
