About the role
We are seeking an independent WordPress Developer to take full ownership of project delivery from start to finish. The role primarily focuses on backend development while also requiring occasional frontend work to ensure seamless integration.
Key responsibilities
- Own project delivery end‑to‑end, working autonomously without constant designer input.
- Develop, customize, and integrate WordPress plugins and backend architecture.
- Handle occasional frontend adjustments to ensure UI and functionality align.
- Debug complex issues to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate development and optimize code.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on WordPress backend development experience.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Strong portfolio showcasing fully functional WordPress projects.
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance coding efficiency.
