WordPress Developer

About the role

The WordPress Developer will design, build, and maintain WordPress‑based websites that meet client business needs. Working on‑site in Karachi, you will collaborate with designers and other developers to deliver responsive, high‑performance sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins, including custom code.
• Implement front‑end designs, ensure cross‑browser and device compatibility, and optimise site performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, apply security hardening, and keep WordPress environments up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong background in web development, both front‑end and back‑end, with a focus on WordPress.
• Experience with responsive web design and SEO best practices.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage several projects simultaneously, and deliver quality code.

Required skills

• WordPress core, theme and plugin development (custom).
• PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Version control with Git.
• Debugging tools and performance optimisation techniques.
• Basic DevOps concepts, security hardening, and SEO knowledge.
