About the role

A company is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise and a good eye for performance, security and user experience.

Key responsibilities

Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress pages
Optimize website performance, speed and SEO
Integrate third-party APIs and plugins
Troubleshoot and fix bugs, security and compatibility issues
Maintain and update existing WordPress websites

Required profile

Strong experience with WordPress (themes and plugins)
Knowledge of WordPress security and performance optimization
Familiarity with Git and staging environments is a plus

Required skills

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery and Gutenberg
Preferred: WooCommerce, custom post types and ACF, and REST APIs
