Workforce Onboarding & Compliance Officer

About the role
This is a hands‑on, governance‑led position responsible for ensuring safer recruitment compliance for Ofsted‑registered children’s residential homes in the UK. Based in Islamabad, the role works closely with UK colleagues during the UK working day and reports to the Head of Workforce Onboarding and Compliance in the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Verify that every staff member completes the full set of pre‑employment safer recruitment checks before their first shift.
- Maintain compliance with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2026, Social Care Common Inspection Framework, and Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
- Document and evidence compliance activities to inspection standards.
- Coordinate with UK and Pakistan teams, providing regular updates to senior managers.
- Support internal audits, policy updates, and training related to recruitment compliance.
Required profile
- Graduate or post‑graduate qualification.
- Platinum‑standard English with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to learn a complex regulated environment quickly.
- Willingness to work onsite in Islamabad, Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑17:30 GMT.
