YouTube Video Editor (Documentary, Talking Heads, Motion Design & AI Visuals)

About the role

Team Zealancy is looking for a YouTube Video Editor in Karachi who can turn raw footage and creative concepts into engaging, high-retention long-form content. The role covers documentary-style, talking-head, creator-led and long-form videos, with motion design and AI-generated visuals. It is full-time, onsite, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with pay of PKR 45,000 to 100,000+ per month depending on portfolio, experience and trial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final delivery, building strong intros and hooks.
• Structure videos around storytelling, pacing and viewer retention, using B-roll, graphics, stock footage, music and sound effects.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, typography, animations and visual effects.
• Use AI-generated visuals where needed, combining them with traditional editing and motion design for a consistent result.
• Apply basic color correction and grading, and handle revisions and deadlines professionally.

Required profile

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects.
• Good understanding of motion design, sound design, typography and color grading.
• Hands-on understanding of AI visual generation and familiarity with Higgsfield AI or similar tools.
• Good English comprehension, especially with English scripts; strong judgment of pacing, continuity and visual quality.
• Strong portfolio showing intros, documentary and talking-head editing, motion graphics, B-roll use and sound design; less experience can be offset by a strong portfolio.

• Pay of PKR 45,000 to 100,000+ per month, with possible performance-based earnings, revenue share and performance partnership.
• Medical benefits as per company policy.
