Academic Lead – Curriculum & Teacher Development

About the role

Fulcrum is recruiting an Academic Lead for a client operating in the education sector, based in Karachi. The position is responsible for elevating academic standards by designing curricula, creating project‑based learning programs, ensuring quality across all learning materials, and building teacher capacity through targeted training. The role offers the chance to shape educational experiences for partner schools and to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the academic team to achieve high performance.
• Design and review SNC‑aligned Project‑Based Learning (PBL) programs.
• Ensure academic quality across learning resources, assessments, and training materials.
• Conduct teacher training sessions at partner schools.
• Develop academic content, rubrics, worksheets, and instructional resources.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective program implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, teacher training, or academic coordination.
• Strong understanding of SNC learning outcomes and PBL methodologies.
• Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skills.
• Proven experience leading academic teams or educational projects is highly preferred.
