Accountant

About the role

Evernex is seeking an Accountant to strengthen finance controls across its global operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager MEA, you will have autonomy to shape accounting processes and contribute directly to the company’s performance.

Key responsibilities

• Client invoicing and collection (Accounts Receivable)
• Supplier bookkeeping and payment (Accounts Payable)
• Monthly processing of employee expenses
• Bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly financial closing reports
• Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all finance and accounting tasks for assigned entities
• Driving consistent policies during month‑end close, including accruals and audit preparation
• Liaising with external consultants as needed

Required profile

• BS or higher in Business Administration or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of corporate accounting/finance experience
• Experience with tax filing (VAT, annual tax return, withholding)
• Fluent English
• Ability to work independently and think analytically

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Experience with Quickbooks accounting software
• Experience with Zoho accounting software
