Accountant - Multiple Client Portfolio (Immediate Hiring)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to manage a diverse client portfolio. The role involves handling day‑to‑day financial transactions, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, expenses and journal entries.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with proper account classification.
• Post accruals, pre‑payments and adjusting entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile all balance‑sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, calculate depreciation and track asset movements.
• Assist with inventory accounting and reconciliations when required.
• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure timely posting in accounting systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ACC​A, CA or ACMA qualification (part‑qualified or qualified preferred).
• 1–4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho and QuickBooks.
• Excellent reconciliation and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of IFRS standards.
