About the role

Step Schools is seeking a dedicated Accounts Officer to manage financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping. The role focuses on maintaining the financial integrity of the organization through precise transaction recording and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger entries for all financial transactions.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records.
Prepare detailed profit and loss statements and other financial reports as required.
Manage bank cash deposits, ensuring correct documentation and timely processing.
Monitor daily financial transactions and update records to reflect the current financial status.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and reports.

Required profile

Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger management and bank reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
