Accounts Receivable & Payable Bookkeeper – Remote

About the role

Certified Care Solutions, LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to manage both accounts receivable and accounts payable for its growing home‑care business. This fully remote position supports accurate financial operations, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record, reconcile, and maintain all accounts receivable and payable transactions.
• Prepare and issue invoices, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on payments.
• Process vendor bills, verify supporting documentation, and coordinate timely payments.
• Reconcile bank, credit‑card, and ledger activity, investigating any discrepancies.
• Maintain organized digital financial records and assist with month‑end close activities.
• Support payroll‑related documentation and other finance tasks related to home‑care operations.
• Generate routine financial reports for management while safeguarding confidential information.

Required profile

• Practical bookkeeping experience with both accounts receivable and payable.
• Strong understanding of double‑entry accounting, reconciliations, and general‑ledger maintenance.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively.
• Professional handling of confidential financial and client data.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and basic reporting.
• Experience using accounting software to enter high‑volume transactions.
