After Sales Service Specialist

About the role

People Perfect seeks an experienced After‑Sales Service Specialist to lead post‑sales technical support, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance for a full range of energy storage systems. The role acts as the primary technical liaison between the company, customers, distributors and installation partners to ensure reliable system performance and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on‑site technical support for residential ESS and portable power products.
• Diagnose hardware, firmware, BMS, inverter and communication faults using diagnostic tools, schematics and monitoring platforms.
• Guide customers and field technicians through installation, commissioning, configuration and system upgrades.
• Document field activities, test results and customer sign‑offs in the service management system.
• Evaluate warranty claims, determine root causes and coordinate RMA processes for defective components.
• Conduct product training sessions for installers and end‑users on operation, safety, monitoring software and routine maintenance.
• Share field insights with R&D, product management and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Support the sales team with pre‑sales technical clarifications and after‑sales service proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in after‑sales service, field engineering or technical support for energy storage, solar PV inverters, UPS systems or lithium‑ion batteries.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically for field service and commissioning activities.

• LiFePO (LFP) battery technology.
• Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Inverters and DC/AC power electronics.
• Reading electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams and technical datasheets.
• Modbus, CAN bus and RS485 communication protocols.
• Energy monitoring and SCADA platforms.
