AI Animation Associate

About the role

The AI Animation Associate turns Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) and curriculum concepts into finished, broadcast-ready 2D animated episodes and instructional videos. The role combines traditional 2D animation fundamentals with generative AI pipelines, covering the full narrative flow from storyline and script to voiceover, storyboard and final motion. It is a full-time position based in the office in Karachi (IBA City Campus / KSBL), Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-production and narrative development (35% workload): turn approved SLOs into age-appropriate story outlines and scripts for early learners (K-5); generate and fine-tune character and instructional voiceovers with ElevenLabs; create shot-by-shot storyboards and animatics using established character designs and brand assets.
• AI-assisted animation and scene assembly (45% workload): prepare, clean and layer character illustrations and backgrounds with Adobe Illustrator and Gemini; animate and composite scenes with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate and Google Vids while keeping character proportions, clothing details, colour palettes and style consistent.
• Pipeline delivery and asset architecture (20% workload): submit animatics, rough cuts and final renders to the Senior EdTech Product Specialist for milestone reviews; keep project files, vector rigs, sound effects, voice tracks and master exports organised in standardised Google Drive archives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Animation, Media Sciences or Fine Arts from an accredited institution.
• At least two university-level courses in 2D animation covering the full pipeline.
• 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in 2D animation, digital illustration and storyboarding.

What we offer

• PKR 60,000 gross during the 3-month probation period
• PKR 80,000 gross after permanent confirmation
