AI Automation & CRM Specialist

About the role

Ellington Tech, a digital marketing and technology agency serving tourism, watersports and local service businesses across the US, is looking for an AI Automation & CRM Specialist. In this hands‑on technical implementation role you will design, launch and maintain AI voice agents, chatbots, CRM pipelines and marketing automations that drive client growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, update and troubleshoot AI voice agents, including call routing, messaging, pronunciation and staff hand‑off.
• Set up and maintain website AI chatbots: widgets, branding, knowledge bases, welcome messages and lead‑capture routing.
• Create and manage CRM pipelines and lead tracking, mapping chatbot/voice interactions into the CRM.
• Develop marketing automations such as booking confirmations, reminders, abandoned‑booking follow‑ups, review requests, win‑back sequences and referral programs.
• Run email and SMS marketing campaigns, including newsletters, engagement series, QA and sender‑domain warm‑up.
• Create, optimise, pause and report on Google Ads and Meta/Facebook Ads campaigns and set up new ad accounts.
• Verify and optimise Google Business Profiles, resolve duplicate listings and basic SEO issues.
• Support booking‑system setups and migrations (e.g., Peek, Bookeo, Campspot) including tour timings and pricing.
• Handle integrations and technical fixes such as connecting social/marketing accounts, 2FA changes, list imports and domain issues.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and client meetings, document follow‑ups and manage tasks in ClickUp.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM/automation platform.
• Experience configuring AI voice agents and/or chatbots (strongly preferred).
• Working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaign management.
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations and live technical issues independently.
• Strong written English and clear communication for client‑facing interactions.
• Highly organized, self‑managing and reliable in a fully remote team.
