Alternate COMSEC Manager (Primary & Alternate)

About the role

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to serve as Primary COMSEC Manager and Alternate COMSEC Manager. The role ensures the secure handling, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material and equipment supporting U.S. and overseas interoperability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the U.S. / FMS COMSEC account, including receipt, custody, issue, distribution, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of Type 1 cryptographic devices and keying material.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records and submit required accounting reports in accordance with NSA/CSSPM 3‑16, Security Doctrine 1, and NSTISSI 4000 series.
• Conduct semi‑annual inventories, reconcile with the Central Office of Record, and pass annual audits by the lead COCOM COMSEC Manager.
• Perform routine destruction or disposition of COMSEC material as directed.
• Inspect protective technologies on receipt, during inventories, and before each use.
• Provide formal and informal training to component personnel on COMSEC equipment and systems.

Required profile

• Valid need‑to‑know clearance and ability to limit access to authorized personnel.
• Thorough familiarity with COMSEC handling procedures and relevant regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
