Animator / Motion Graphics Editor (Short Form Video)

About the role

Pronk Production is a remote video post-production and animation studio editing short-form content for creators, coaches and brands in the US and UK. It is looking for an Animator / Motion Graphics Editor to create vertical short-form reels (9:16) built on a talking-head video, cut against cinematic AI b-roll and bold kinetic typography, with a consistent warm, filmic colour grade and tight retention pacing.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form reels (9:16) with a talking-head base, cinematic AI b-roll and kinetic typography.
• Maintain a consistent cinematic look across videos: warm filmic colour grade, dramatic lighting, impact words on screen.
• Keep tight retention pacing: scene changes every 2 to 3 seconds, cuts locked to the voice, whip and light-burst transitions, split screens, no dead air.
• Turn each line of the script into a strong visual by finding or generating the right image.

Required profile

• A portfolio of short-form edits you made yourself, with reels you can watch.
• Experience creating AI images and AI video clips (Midjourney, Kling, Runway, Higgsfield or similar); this is the most valued skill.
• Clear written English and reliable communication on deadlines.
• Some working hours overlapping US mornings is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro skills.
• Good eye for typography, colour and rhythm.

What we offer

• Fully remote work.
• Freelance, project-based to start; a permanent role is possible if it goes well.
• The studio provides the AI tool subscription needed for the work.
• Clear briefs, one sample video first for look approval, then the batch; review and feedback on Frame.io.

To apply, use the application link on LinkedIn and include a link to your portfolio with at least one reel you edited; applications without a portfolio link will not be reviewed. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a short trial edit.
