About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead a regional sales team to achieve targets for postpaid sales, mobile wallet activation, remittances and retail/franchise business development. Reporting to the Regional Sales Head, the role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Visit and familiarize with the market area, meeting retailers and franchise owners.
  • Mentor and support Territory Sales Supervisors and Franchise Service Executives, ensuring issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Design and execute plans to increase sales of handsets, Wi‑Fi devices, remittances and postpaid numbers.
  • Coordinate with Commercial Planning to launch campaigns that boost postpaid penetration.
  • Develop and maintain the distribution and retail network across the assigned region.
  • Manage franchise and retail channels, motivate staff and explain profitability models.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs such as postpaid sales, remittances, cash‑in, MNP, gross ads, Jazz Cash wallets and 4G penetration.
  • Collaborate with DFS Executives, Sales Operations, Channel Planning, Regional Technical Teams and external franchisee staff.

Required profile

  • 6‑10 years of sales distribution, channel development and retail management experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC‑recognized institute.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from planning through rollout and feedback.
  • Willingness to work in remote areas and mentor team members.
  • Strong supervisory skills to guide sales and franchise teams.
  • Excellent communication, resilience, professionalism and maturity.
