Assistant Director (SRD Provincial Coordination)

About the role

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is recruiting on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA) for an Assistant Director (SRD Provincial Coordination). NAFSA is being set up as a national initiative to strengthen Pakistan's agri-trade ecosystem through better regulation, facilitation and modernisation of food safety and trade processes. The selected person will join NAFSA's founding team and help build its systems, processes and institutional capacity. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in liaising with provincial departments on the implementation status of SRD standards and regulations.
• Maintain correspondence records, implementation trackers and meeting minutes related to provincial coordination.
• Help compile provincial feedback and prepare analytical notes for supervisory review.
• Assist in preparing guidance notes, circulars and training/awareness material for provincial stakeholders.
• Support coordination logistics for inter-provincial and federal-provincial meetings, workshops and consultations.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA's mandate.

Required profile

• B.Sc. (Hons.) or bachelor's degree (at least sixteen years of education) in a relevant field such as agriculture, veterinary science, food, public administration or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant coordination or administrative experience, preferably in regulatory or public sector settings.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage routine coordination tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong documentation discipline.
