Assistant Manager – Academics (Special & Inclusive Education)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Academics will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of high‑quality standards for special and inclusive education across flagship schools. The role ensures curriculum adaptation, instructional quality, and individualized learning strategies so that all students, regardless of ability, receive equitable education.

Key responsibilities

• Review and revamp existing curricula and textbooks to align with national standards and contextual relevance, incorporating accommodations for diverse learners.
• Integrate Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles into lesson planning, develop standardized lesson‑plan templates, and collaborate with consultants to produce inclusive teacher guides.
• Research and design assessment frameworks for early years and primary levels, including classroom observation tools and co‑curricular activity metrics.
• Guide teachers and academic coordinators on inclusive curriculum delivery, differentiated instruction, and IEP development, while supporting school leadership in implementing adaptations.
• Conduct ongoing research on inclusive education practices, translate findings into actionable classroom strategies, and ensure curricula reflect evidence‑based, context‑relevant standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in curriculum design, inclusive or special education, and program management.
• Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in formal or non‑formal settings.

Required skills

• Familiarity with student assessment tools, learning outcomes mapping, and curriculum evaluation.
• Strong research and analytical abilities to evaluate student needs and modify learning strategies.
