Assistant Manager Network and Infrastructure Security

About the role

The Assistant Manager Network and Infrastructure Security will lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of advanced security controls across the organization. You will work closely with IT and network teams to ensure robust protection of endpoints, networks, and data assets.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and manage DNS security, EDR/XDR, and DLP solutions.
• Develop and fine‑tune DLP policies, investigate incidents, and ensure coverage across all endpoints and network channels.
• Deploy, manage, and adjust detection rules in the XDR/EDR ecosystem to reduce false positives.
• Monitor and maintain security platforms for rapid threat detection and incident response.
• Review infrastructure asset inventories and verify integration with security monitoring systems.
• Harden network devices and security appliances to meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Perform secure configuration assessments, OS patch verification, and security reviews of network devices.
• Handle business integration, remote access, network access, and user access requests with security recommendations.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor remediation activities.
• Perform quarterly privileged access reviews and report on control effectiveness.
• Develop security metrics, reporting mechanisms, and maintain MIS trackers for network devices, DNS analytics, EDR, and DLP events.
• Deliver security awareness sessions focusing on phishing detection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Information Security or Cybersecurity.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, HCNA, CompTIA Network+, SSCP or CompTIA Security+.
• Strong analytical ability, composure under pressure, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
