Assistant Manager Network & Security (Pre-Sales)

About the role

Techtrix System is an IT solutions provider that works with technology manufacturers and resellers to deliver networking and infrastructure solutions for businesses, enterprises, educational institutions and government organisations across Pakistan. It is hiring an Assistant Manager Network & Security (Pre-Sales) for a full-time, on-site position in Karachi, working closely with sales teams and clients to design and propose secure network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client infrastructure and prepare technical proposals and solution designs aligned with customer requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct product demonstrations and support bids and tenders from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate solution feasibility and assist in proof-of-concept deployments.
• Provide pre-sales guidance on network security architectures and technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking and security products, prepare documentation and presentations, and contribute to customer training and technical enablement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Network+ or Security+ are an advantage.
• Experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles, preferably in networking or cybersecurity.
• Ability to turn technical concepts into clear, customer-focused presentations and proposals, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage several opportunities and deadlines.

Required skills

• Network administration and network engineering to manage, support and advise on complex networks.
• Network design for scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions.
• Hands-on network security, including firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Advanced troubleshooting of network and security issues during pre-sales evaluations and proof-of-concept activities.
