Assistant Manager Operations (Odoo ERP, Marketplace)

About the role

Get Books is a book marketplace and publishing platform moving beyond its early MVP stage, with real vendors, libraries and institutions joining and a first franchise store opening. It needs an Assistant Manager Operations in Islamabad to turn its current manual, founder-run processes into properly configured, scalable systems, with a path to running operations at a COO level as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and set up a third-party multi-vendor marketplace module in Odoo, and configure the Order Management System to route, track and fulfil orders across many sellers
• Configure and maintain Odoo across marketplace, franchise and bookstore operations (POS, inventory) and the B2B library and digital solutions lines, becoming the internal Odoo expert
• Manage vendor and seller onboarding, from application through verification, demo and payment confirmation
• Oversee the manual bank-transfer verification process and help lead the move to automated payment processing
• Help onboard and train new franchisees on POS systems and store operations
• Turn manual workarounds into documented, repeatable systems as the company scales past MVP

Required profile

• 1-3 years in operations, project coordination or similar hands-on work; genuine technical exposure matters more than years on paper
• Comfortable working across multiple business lines at once: marketplace, retail and B2B
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• A real interest in growing into a leadership role over time

Required skills

• Tech-savvy, hands-on with ERP/CRM systems; Odoo experience is a strong plus, especially module installation or marketplace-style configurations
• Order management and multi-vendor marketplace setup

What we offer

• Probation period of three months, then base salary of Rs 60,000 - 100,000 per month depending on progress and performance reviews
• Performance commission on net revenue generated
