Assistant Media Planner

About the role

WPP Media is seeking an Assistant Media Planner to support the planning and execution of media campaigns across traditional and digital channels. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will work closely with specialist teams and external media partners to help deliver data‑driven, creative media solutions for leading brands.

Key responsibilities

• Become proficient with WPP’s proprietary planning tools and extract/analyse campaign data.
• Support the development and validation of media recommendations for moderate‑scale live campaigns.
• Initiate contact with key media partners, understand their digital and traditional offerings, and integrate them into planning proposals.
• Collaborate with internal specialists and external stakeholders to deliver integrated media solutions.
• Assist in the execution of larger‑scale campaigns, ensuring flawless delivery and performance tracking.
• Build relationships with decision‑makers within the client portfolio and contribute to category insights.

• Strong interest in media planning and a willingness to learn cutting‑edge tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to detail.
