About the role

Express 24/7's English Programming team is looking for a documentary producer to join its team in Karachi. The role covers research, development and production of documentaries and current affairs features from concept to final edit.

Key responsibilities

Research, develop and produce documentaries and current affairs features from concept to final edit.
Develop documentary concepts, treatments, scripts and interview questions.
Coordinate field shoots, interviews, production teams and post-production.

Required profile

4-5 years of experience in documentary or current affairs production (mandatory).
Ability to coordinate field shoots, interviews, production teams and post-production.
Excellent English communication and writing skills.
Strong understanding of current affairs, politics and social issues.

Required skills

Strong research, storytelling and editorial judgment.
Ability to develop documentary concepts, treatments, scripts and interview questions.
