About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Medical Coder to join our team in Gujranwala on the night shift. The role supports the coding of clinical documentation to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Review physicians’ notes and translate them into appropriate medical codes.
- Assist senior coders in verifying code accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information while handling coding tasks.
- Submit coded records to the billing department in a timely manner.
- Participate in regular quality‑control audits.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a Pharm‑D or DPT degree.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night hours.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and coding standards.
Required skills
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., ICD‑10, CPT).
