Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Habib Bank AG Zurich is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to act as a PMO Project Coordinator for the GEN II migration program. You will support governance, reporting and coordination activities while ensuring alignment with PMO standards and Agile/Scrum practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support PMO governance, coordination and reporting for the GEN II migration program.
• Maintain project documentation, stage‑gate and governance artifacts.
• Track sprint progress, backlog items, releases and cross‑functional dependencies.
• Prepare dashboards, KPIs and executive reporting packs.
• Maintain project plans, timelines and risk‑issue registers.
• Assist in portfolio‑level status updates and stakeholder communication.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes and reporting practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT or a related field with a minimum 3.0 CGPA.
• 3–5 years of experience in PMO, project coordination or project support roles.
• Strong organizational, analytical and reporting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in banking or other regulated environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Jira.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Ability to create visual reports using Power BI.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
