Assistant Project Manager – Karachi

About the role

The Assistant Project Manager will supervise on‑site construction and maintenance activities in Karachi, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will act as the liaison between the engineering department, contractors, and field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction and post‑construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, contract, and TCF standards.
• Prepare and verify BOQs, BBS, and cost reports; report any cost or scope variances.
• Conduct land surveys, soil testing, and other quality inspections; compile punch lists and field reports.
• Coordinate with contractors to meet milestones and resolve delays.
• Validate bills of quantities against drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Maintain accurate measurements and documentation of work performed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, BTech, or DAE.
• Minimum 3‑5 years experience for BE, 5‑7 years for BTech, or 7‑10 years for DAE in building construction.

Required skills

• Quantity surveying (BOQ & BBS) and cost reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Soil testing and land surveying techniques.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
