Assistant Quality Assurance Manager – Beverage Industry

About the role

The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will support the QA function across production and supply‑chain activities, ensuring that all processes meet QFS, GMP and GLP standards. You will work closely with QC chemists, market chemists and external labs to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QFS requirements throughout operations and the supply chain.
• Oversee water‑treatment and syrup‑processing compliance with QFS standards.
• Supervise daily activities of QC Chemists, including cross‑checks and sensory evaluations.
• Manage calibration, maintenance and availability of laboratory equipment and consumables.
• Verify QC documentation and ensure accurate data entry into the QM module.
• Train and develop QC staff to meet current PCI and legal requirements.
• Conduct startup and post‑maintenance inspections to prevent non‑conformances.
• Coordinate internal and external testing/sampling as required.
• Maintain GMP and GLP practices and support additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• BSc in Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of QA experience in dairy, juice, water or beverage production.
• Lead Auditor experience or familiarity with FSSC certification.
