3D Printing Technician

About the role

BrickCAD is seeking a full‑time, on‑site 3D Printing Technician to join its engineering team in Islamabad. You will be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining a range of additive manufacturing equipment, ensuring that printed parts meet the required quality and design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare print files, load materials and calibrate FDM, SLA and SLS printers.
• Review design files for printability and set up builds according to engineering requirements.
• Oversee print runs, perform post‑processing (cleaning, curing, sanding, finishing) and document results.
• Manage material inventory, maintain equipment logs and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and CAD designers to optimise print parameters and troubleshoot issues.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with FDM, SLA or SLS 3D printers and routine maintenance.
• Proficiency in 3D printing preparation software and basic CAD tools for model review.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing materials such as polymers, resins and powders.
• Strong attention to detail, measurement and inspection skills.
• Effective communication and organisational abilities for managing multiple print jobs.
