Assistant Teacher

About the role

Beaconhouse is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Assistant Teacher to join its Lahore campus. You will work closely with the lead teacher to enhance classroom instruction and create a supportive learning environment for students across core subjects, including mathematics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
• Prepare classroom materials and organize learning activities.
• Supervise students during class time and breaks.
• Support classroom management and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Provide individual and small‑group assistance to reinforce instructional content.
• Monitor student progress and report observations to the lead teacher.
• Help with record‑keeping and coordination with families and school staff.
• Participate in school events and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in assistant teaching and classroom support.
• Background in education with understanding of age‑appropriate pedagogy.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
• Comfort with basic mathematics to aid numerical and problem‑solving concepts.
• Proven experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Minimum of a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (in progress may be considered).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and uphold child safeguarding standards.
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to inclusive education.
