Associate Demand Planner

About the role

foodpanda is looking for a highly‑driven Associate Demand Planner to join its Pakistan team. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager, Demand and Supply Planning to create accurate replenishment plans and support the overall supply chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly replenishment plans at the supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell‑out, and forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Calculate supply plans from generated demand forecasts.
• Prepare and update weekly and monthly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Maintain healthy inventory in distribution centres and stores, meeting target days‑cover, availability, and shrinkage goals.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to adjust forecast plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules and drive fulfillment performance.
• Monitor supplier issues, escalating when necessary to ensure product availability.
• Identify slow‑moving SKUs and flag them for corrective action.
• Work cross‑functionally on projects, drive actions, and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience in FMCG/grocery retail or e‑commerce demand planning is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
