Associate Director of ERP Digital Transformation

About the role

Careem is seeking a hands‑on leader to head its ERP department, overseeing Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement (Quik), HCM/Payroll, and integration streams. The role blends strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational support, ensuring smooth production processes while driving automation and AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ERP team across Financials, Procurement, HCM/Payroll, and Integration streams.
• Personally triage, approve, and resolve production issues such as access requests, purchase requisitions, and integration errors.
• Maintain delivery discipline by enforcing JIRA ticketing for all support and project tasks.
• Conduct learning and knowledge‑sharing sessions on Oracle upgrades, RPA/AI demos, and OIC/OCI technical material.
• Own the Oracle vendor relationship and drive quarterly planning for the department.
• Recognize and communicate wins across streams to keep the team motivated.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an ERP function in a large, fast‑growing organization.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to review tickets, approve access/PR requests, and troubleshoot Oracle/OIC/Okta issues directly.
• Strong people‑management skills, including coaching, performance reviews, and supporting team members during personal challenges.
• Track record of implementing automation (RPA/AI) and driving continuous improvement.
