About the role

The University of Swat is seeking a full‑time Associate Professor to join its faculty in the Swat District. This on‑site position combines teaching, research, and mentorship responsibilities within a dynamic academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high‑quality lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Conduct impactful research and lead scholarly projects.
• Mentor and supervise students, guiding their academic and professional development.
• Develop and update curricula in collaboration with departmental colleagues.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and university initiatives.
• Foster collaborations with faculty members and engage in community outreach activities.
• Contribute to administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
• Proven experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Strong research record with publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Excellent communication and student‑mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
• Prior experience as an Assistant Professor or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with academic regulations and willingness to serve on university committees.
