Associate Team Lead – Data Engineer

About the role

Devsinc is seeking an Associate Team Lead – Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise data pipelines that turn raw data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape the data architecture and ensure data quality and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance scalable ETL pipelines and data models.
• Work with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Implement validation and testing mechanisms to guarantee data quality, consistency and accuracy.
• Utilise cloud services and data‑warehousing platforms to store and manage large data volumes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve production pipeline issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on data integrity and performance optimisation.
• Excellent communication abilities to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, AWS Glue.
• Programming in Python or Scala.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Data‑warehousing technologies (Snowflake, Redshift).
