Audit Executive

About the role

The Audit Executive will lead internal audit engagements, assess the effectiveness of controls, and help the organization manage operational and financial risks. This position works closely with the Internal Audit Manager to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits according to the approved audit plan.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Review financial records, transactions, and supporting documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare audit working papers, reports, and documentation in line with internal audit standards.
• Follow up on audit observations to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Assist in fraud investigations, policy violations, and irregularities as needed.
• Coordinate with department heads to gather audit evidence and clarify findings.
• Support stock, fixed‑asset, and physical inventory verification.
• Contribute to risk assessments and the development of the annual audit plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA (part‑qualified), CAF, ACMA, CMA or equivalent are preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management or finance.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
