Automation Engineer – Yokogawa Systems

About the role

We are seeking an Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Yokogawa control systems to design, implement and support specialized hardware and software solutions for DCS, SIS and FGS applications. The role involves close interaction with customers to translate specifications into reliable automation solutions and to ensure successful commissioning on site.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for specialized control systems, including DCS, SIS and FGS, using Yokogawa platforms.
• Develop software configurations for Yokogawa DCS (CS3000 and Centum VP) and perform system testing and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Gather and interpret customer specifications such as functional requirement documents, P&IDs, C&Es, drawings and narratives.
• Apply knowledge of major industrial standards and instrumentation principles to ensure compliance.
• Participate in site activities, supervising installations, commissioning and startup of automation systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with industrial automation and Yokogawa DCS (CS3000, Centum VP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
