Automation Specialist (GoHighLevel)

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Specialist to design, build and optimise workflows on the GoHighLevel platform. The role blends technical development with CRM process design to deliver scalable automation solutions that enhance business operations and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise GoHighLevel workflows and automation systems.
• Create and manage CRM pipelines, triggers, campaigns, forms, surveys, calendars and reporting dashboards.
• Develop and maintain custom integrations using APIs, webhooks and third‑party applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation, integration and platform‑related issues.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and operations teams to streamline processes.
• Implement lead‑nurturing, appointment booking, follow‑up and customer communication automations.
• Ensure data accuracy, system reliability and automation performance.
• Document workflows, processes and technical implementations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with GoHighLevel or as a full‑stack developer.
• Proven ability to implement complex automations, workflows and integrations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Required skills

• GoHighLevel (expert level)
• APIs and webhooks
• Zapier, Make.com, Pabbly or similar automation platforms
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic backend concepts a plus)
• Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
