AWS Engineer - Cloud (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high‑traffic applications. The position is fully remote and contract‑based, supporting a global leader in IT services and consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor performance and reliability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security configurations.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS and a relevant certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Understanding of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
