Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, migrate and manage scalable, secure and high‑performing solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role will act as a technical leader, guiding internal teams and clients through cloud transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end Azure solutions that meet business, performance and security objectives.
• Architect cloud‑native and hybrid applications using Azure PaaS, IaaS and SaaS, integrating on‑premises systems.
• Implement security, compliance and governance controls such as Azure Policy, RBAC and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Assess, select and integrate third‑party tools and marketplace services into Azure environments.
• Lead cloud migration projects, from assessment through execution, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Azure innovations and contribute to community discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud engineering experience, primarily within Microsoft ecosystems.
• Proven experience designing and managing solutions on Azure.
• Expertise with VMware (vSphere, NSX) and Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop).
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional or Citrix Certified Expert.

• Hybrid and multi‑cloud design patterns, Virtual Networks (VNet), networking.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, containers and micro‑services.
• Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure Policy, RBAC.
• VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop.
• Basic familiarity with AWS services (optional).
