B2B Business Consultant - Self-Storage Disc Locks

About the role

This role focuses on outbound calls to independent self-storage facility owners and decision-makers, following up on mailed catalogs to close sales on the phone. The representative uses consultative selling and compares price and quality against the market-leading competitor, Chateau Products, to win new accounts. The position is in person.

Key responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to independent self-storage facilities within 3-5 business days of a mailed catalog or insert
• Qualify facilities by unit count, current lock supplier and current pricing
• Educate prospects on the client's disc lock and cylinder lock product line and its pricing advantage versus Chateau Products
• Close sales on the phone or convert warm prospects into scheduled follow-ups
• Log every call outcome, facility details and objections accurately in the CRM
• Send follow-up emails, catalogs and quotes promptly after each call
• Meet daily and weekly call volume, conversation and conversion targets
• Take part in ongoing product and objection-handling training and role-play sessions

Required profile

• C1 level English (fluent), as all interviews and daily work are in English
• 1+ years of outbound sales, telesales or cold-calling experience
• Demonstrated ability to close sales over the phone, not just schedule appointments
• Comfort with objection handling and price-based negotiation
• 1 year of B2B sales, cold calling and CRM experience each (required)

Preferred qualifications

• B2B outbound sales experience rather than consumer or retail sales
• Selling to a price-sensitive, small-business or independent-operator audience
• Familiarity with self-storage, industrial supply, hardware or facilities/property management sectors
• Track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas with quantifiable metrics
