Back End Developer (Python, AWS, AI Tools)

About the role

Target Dial builds AI voice agents and lead-generation systems for service businesses in North America. It is looking for a backend developer who will own its stack, keep it stable, ship fast and act as the gatekeeper for every change reaching production. The role is full-time and remote, paid monthly in USD, with direct work with the founder and no layers of management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the backend: Python services, Supabase (Postgres) and AWS (EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Build and maintain integrations with GoHighLevel, Retell (voice AI), Twilio, Stripe and Gmail.
• Ship daily using Claude Code, then review, test and clean up what the AI writes.
• Review and merge every change through GitHub PRs so nothing breaks production.
• Clean up data, including duplicates, sync jobs and security filters.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of backend experience with Python and SQL.
• Must already use Claude Code or Cursor every day.
• Real AWS experience, able to read logs and debug independently.
• Experience building API integrations; telephony or voice AI experience is a big plus.
• Clear English and ability to give async updates without being chased.
• Willingness to overlap 2-3 hours per day with Toronto mornings (ET).
