Backend Developer – AI/LLM Integration

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer to join our Karachi team. The role focuses on building scalable server‑side applications and embedding AI Large Language Model capabilities into production services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Integrate AI/LLM models for features such as chatbots, content generation, and recommendation systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy and scale AI models.
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability of the system.
- Manage databases, caching, and distributed systems for high‑availability.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and keep documentation up to date.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience with Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI APIs.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and Agile methodologies.
