Bid Estimator – U.S. Government Tenders

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Bid Estimator to support U.S. government construction tenders and procurement activities. The role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing cost estimates, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle U.S. government construction bids, including RFQs, RFPs and IFBs.
• Review solicitation scopes, specifications and drawings to determine project and procurement needs.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Quotations, proposal requests and bid invitations.
• Source, communicate with and coordinate U.S.-based vendors, subcontractors and service providers.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain procurement trackers.
• Support U.S. project managers and estimators to align procurement activities with project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, RFP/RFQ/RFI processes.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong professional communication.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work the specified PST shift (6 PM‑3 AM).

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital estimating tools such as PlanSwift or e‑TakeOff.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate RFP requirements and pricing.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasive writing skills for proposal preparation.
