BIM Modeler – Architectural & MEP Modeling

About the role

Archnetix is seeking a BIM Modeler to join its Islamabad office. The role involves creating, developing, and managing detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines while ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings and translate design concepts into accurate digital models.
• Coordinate model information across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Update models in response to design changes and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve clashes and improve constructability.
• Support quality‑control processes and adhere to company BIM protocols.
• Contribute to the optimisation of modelling workflows and template libraries.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in BIM workflows and tools.
• Knowledge of architecture and ability to read and produce detailed construction drawings.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within BIM environments.
• Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with industry‑standard BIM software and coordination tools.
• Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in construction or design firms and understanding of U.S. building standards is an advantage.
