BOQ Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BOQ Quantity Surveyor to lead the preparation and management of Bills of Quantities across multiple construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with design and construction teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and verify the accuracy of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various projects.
• Measure and estimate material quantities, labor costs, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align project specifications.
• Analyze project data and produce reports on material and labor costs, as well as schedule performance.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities, including material and service sourcing.
• Conduct risk, value management, and cost‑control exercises.
• Advise on procurement strategy and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Professional certification such as RICS or CIOB is preferred.
• 6‑10 years of hands‑on experience in quantity surveying and BOQ preparation.
• Proven on‑site experience with a solid understanding of construction processes, building codes and legal standards.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and negotiation abilities.
