BOQ Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BOQ Quantity Surveyor to lead the preparation, management, and verification of Bills of Quantities across multiple construction projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost estimation and timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and ensure accuracy of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various projects.
• Measure and estimate material quantities, labor costs, and project timelines.
• Work with design and construction teams to verify that project specifications are met.
• Analyze project data and produce reports on material costs, labor costs, and schedule performance.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Assist in procurement of materials and services, and advise on procurement strategy and contract management.
• Conduct risk, value management, and cost‑control exercises.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in quantity surveying (e.g., RICS, CIOB) preferred.
• 6‑10 years of relevant experience, including on‑site exposure to construction projects.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
