Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the daily operations of a United Bank Limited branch in Rawalpindi. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring strict compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all branch activities, including cash handling, transaction processing and service delivery.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their financial needs and promoting bank products.
• Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Lead, coach and evaluate branch staff to foster a high‑performance team.
• Collaborate with other departments to support cross‑functional initiatives and improve overall branch performance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong background in customer relationship management, business development and financial planning.
• In‑depth knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• Relevant experience in banking or financial management, particularly in branch operations.
