Business Development Engineer

About the role

AE Solar is seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer to drive sales of Huawei C&I Inverters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and EV Chargers across the Faisalabad and Central Punjab region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities and achieve targets for Huawei C&I Inverters, BESS and EV Chargers.
• Identify and acquire new customers, channel partners, EPC firms, consultants and corporate clients.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and partners.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct product presentations, meetings and technical discussions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming solar projects.
• Coordinate with technical, after‑sales and supply‑chain teams for project execution.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom or Mechatronics (MBA preferred).
• 4‑5 years of experience in the solar/power industry, preferably in C&I solar or channel sales.
• Willingness to travel within Faisalabad and Central Punjab.

Required skills

• Strong sales, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial solar/power solutions.
• Experience with Huawei C&I Inverters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and EV charging solutions.
• Ability to develop and manage channel partners and corporate accounts.
