Business Development Executive

About the role

CoolAir Compressors, a Pakistan-based supplier of industrial machinery and services, is hiring a full-time Business Development Executive based in Lahore. The role follows a hybrid model, combining on-site client engagement with some work-from-home flexibility. It centres on finding and pursuing new business, generating qualified leads and building long-term relationships with industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
• Conduct market research and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
• Manage key accounts, track sales performance and maintain an updated pipeline in CRM tools.
• Provide regular reports and forecasts to leadership.
• Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to deliver timely, accurate solutions.
• Take part in industry events and promote the company's sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated skills in new business development and lead generation, with the ability to identify, qualify and convert prospects.
• Strong account management capability to nurture client relationships, manage contracts and drive repeat sales.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in industrial machinery, energy solutions or B2B technical sales is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, travel to client sites and collaborate in a hybrid setting.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and client interaction skills.
• Comfort with CRM software and basic productivity tools such as spreadsheets and presentations.
• Negotiation, problem-solving and customer service orientation.
