Business Development Manager – Agricultural IoT Systems

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Agricultural IoT Systems will drive SolutionMall’s growth in Pakistan by identifying and securing B2B opportunities for smart agriculture solutions. Reporting to the regional sales lead, the role focuses on building a pipeline of projects in irrigation, crop monitoring, greenhouse management and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and channel partners such as farm operators, plantation owners, greenhouse project owners, irrigation contractors and equipment distributors.
• Promote SolutionMall’s portfolio of IoT devices – soil sensors, weather stations, irrigation controllers, water‑quality monitors, greenhouse monitoring systems, IoT gateways and solar‑powered field units.
• Gather detailed project requirements (crop type, farm size, irrigation method, monitoring points) and translate them into suitable solution proposals.
• Manage the RFQ process, coordinate quotations, and follow up with procurement teams to close deals.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with system integrators, consultants, research institutions and governmental bodies to support repeat business.
• Provide market feedback to product teams to adapt offerings to local needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within agricultural technology, smart irrigation, greenhouse or water‑management sectors.
• Strong network or ability to build relationships with agricultural stakeholders in Pakistan.
• Understanding of project‑based solution selling and RFQ management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
